Social Strategist

Job Purpose: The Social Media Strategist will implement the company’s Social Media marketing. Includes developing content strategies, increasing brand awareness, and generating inbound traffic for assigned clients. The Social Media manager is a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for designing and implementing content strategies, creating relevant content, blogging, and leadership. 

Job Description:

  • Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities for clients including:
  • Create relevant content to reach the client’s ideal customers
  • Create and manage all published content (images, video and written) on all social assigned platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users to create a social dialogue and customer support
  • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails..)
  • Design, create and manage special promotions and social ad campaigns
  • Compile report for management showing results (ROI)
  • Compile reports for clients showing results (ROI)
  • Respond to emails/messages/etc in a timely manner 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Become an advocate for MtoM in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy
  • Oversee intern duties and provide them with useful information
  • Provide weekly updates, changes, news, etc to management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience working as a social media strategist, manager, or intern
  • Deep understanding of the social landscape, proven competency across multiple platforms, and experience managing social media pages with proven success
  • Passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing
  • Measurable examples of success in social media against business goals
  • Fluency in social data, analytics, and metrics.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to create high-quality work within short timeframes

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. Applicants can be based anywhere in the United States but will need to be available to work East Coast hours.

MtoM is a 4-day work week agency with each employee only working 1 Friday per month.

**Graphic design, or web design, knowledge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monitoring and listening across all social accounts.
  • Support for various marketing campaigns and projects.
  • Conduct research on the latest marketing and social media trends.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy on platform-specific projects and initiatives
  • Assist with the production of content for web and social media, including images, gifs, videos, copywriting, etc.
  • Aid in the compilation of monthly social reports for clients.

This is a virtual internship so you can be located anywhere but the majority of your work hours must be between 9-5 ET. This is a paid internship.
